We originally created this comic in Japanese and called it 手伝いたい/Testudaitai. It was part of the “Beauty and the Beast Social Link! – Kannao Petit Only Anthology”, which is called Petit Only for short.
The Petit Only anthology was run by Sayama-san, and it featured works from 16 different contributors. This included comics, color illustrations, and short stories.
Thanks to the work of Sayama-san, it debuted at Super Comic City in May 2016. Then, it went on to run the convention circuit in Japan. We distributed it through the North American convention circuit, as well as for sale online. However, it is now out of print.
Later, we included the English version of I Want To Help as a bonus story in our collected edition of A Bit Closer.
